Code Orange share new song “Mirror” ahead of The Above

The Pittsburgh band’s latest offering from their forthcoming album, The Above (out Sept. 29), is one of the biggest left turns they’ve ever taken; a moody, elastic trip-hop track with mournful strings, delicate piano, and a blowout vocal performance from Reba Meyers that’s by far the most tuneful hook Code Orange have ever delivered.

Following their massive grunge anthem “Take Shape,” which featured the Smashing Pumpkins luminary Billy Corgan, Code Orange are back with another unpredictable track called “Mirror.”

“This song has a special place in my heart,” Meyers says. “To me, it’s the climax of this style of my writing in this band thus far. Take a look in the mirror, are you bored?”
